Privacy, markets and industries
Data boundaries and market context without unsupported coverage claims.
Should I include confidential customer data in the assessment?
No. Keep the initial request at business-context level.
What permission is required for GWO SEVO to respond to an assessment?
The assessment has no consent checkboxes. Selecting “Send My Request” asks GWO SEVO to contact you about that request, as explained in the notice beside the button and the Privacy Policy.
Is marketing consent required?
No. The assessment does not collect marketing consent and does not use an assessment submission by itself to enrol you in marketing, advertising audiences or automated nurture. Newsletter consent is handled through a separate signup process.
Is personal information placed in the page URL or browser storage?
No. The assessment is designed so personally identifiable information is not written to URLs, analytics payloads or browser localStorage.
Which markets does GWO SEVO currently serve?
Current country-by-country coverage has not been approved for public claims. The assessment asks where an organisation is based or plans to operate so the request can be reviewed without treating that selection as a coverage promise.
What if our industry is not listed in the assessment?
Choose “Another industry”. Industry is qualification context; the available choices do not establish a launch priority, coverage claim or proof of sector experience.
Does GWO SEVO operate in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal?
The current source set does not approve a country-by-country coverage statement. Name the relevant market in the assessment so operational suitability can be reviewed without turning a research market into a service promise.
Can one customer-growth model be applied unchanged across African markets?
It should not be assumed. Audience needs, language, channels, commercial conditions, data requirements and operating capacity may differ by country and sector. Validate the relevant parts of the model for each market.
How should English- and French-language campaigns be handled across markets?
Start with the intended audience and meaning, then adapt the proposition, terminology and action for the market. Direct translation is not enough when the commercial context or customer journey also changes.
Can customer data be moved across borders for campaign or service work?
Cross-border processing depends on the organisation’s legal, privacy, security and vendor requirements. Those controls are not yet approved as a universal GWO SEVO rule and must be confirmed before data is transferred.
How are local consent and privacy requirements handled in a multi-market campaign?
The organisation must identify the approved purpose, data source, contact method and requirements that apply in each market. This FAQ is not legal advice, and no single consent statement should be assumed to cover every country or use.
How should leads from WhatsApp or other messaging channels be handled?
Record the enquiry in the approved lead workflow, preserve the source and relevant permission, and avoid leaving the customer history on a personal device. The specific integration and retention rules need to be confirmed.
Should mobile-money transaction data be treated as ordinary campaign data?
No assumption should be made. Transaction data may be sensitive and its use depends on the approved purpose, access, consent, security and applicable requirements. Only the minimum information needed for the workflow should be considered.
Can a regulated or public-sector organisation use the same assessment?
It can provide initial business context, but regulated and public-sector work may require additional governance, procurement, security and approval information. No certification or compliance status should be inferred from the assessment.
Does GWO SEVO use the same solution for every industry?
No fixed industry template should be assumed. The business problem may be similar, but the customer journey, decision criteria, data, regulation and operating context need to be understood for the organisation.
How should we complete the assessment for more than one market?
Choose the multiple-markets option and describe the markets and shared problem at business-context level. The selection helps qualification; it does not create a coverage promise or confirm one scope for every country.
How should local market assumptions be tested before a campaign?
State the audience, need, language, channel and conversion assumptions, then test them against available evidence and a measurable response. Avoid treating a regional trend or another country’s result as proof for the target market.
