Cloud Infrastructure and Security Manager
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor cloud resources, optimize usage, and manage costs effectively.
- Work closely with cloud service providers to implement best practices and stay updated on new features and services.
Server Security and Management:
- Implement and maintain robust server security measures, including access controls, patch management, and antivirus solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Manage server configurations, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Network & Systems Management:
- Design and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network traffic.
- Implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard network assets and data.
Database Administration:
- Administer and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
- Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and auditing.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of server operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Server) and virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, including encryption, access controls, and threat detection.
- Experience with network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL querying.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified IT Service Delivery (ITIL) or similar certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, server security, network administration, and database administration roles.
- Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is preferred.
