As a Cloud Infrastructure and Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of cloud and local infrastructure, ensuring server security and management, network and systems management, as well as database administration. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, availability and security of our organization’s IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management:Â
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Â
- Monitor cloud resources, optimize usage, and manage costs effectively.Â
- Work closely with cloud service providers to implement best practices and stay updated on new features and services.Â
Server Security and Management:Â
- Implement and maintain robust server security measures, including access controls, patch management, and antivirus solutions.Â
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.Â
- Manage server configurations, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and uptime.Â
 Network & Systems Management:Â
- Design and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.Â
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network traffic.Â
- Implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard network assets and data.Â
 Database Administration:Â
- Administer and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.Â
- Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.Â
- Implement database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and auditing.Â
Candidate Requirements
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Â
- Strong understanding of server operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Server) and virtualization technologies.Â
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, including encryption, access controls, and threat detection.Â
- Experience with network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.Â
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL querying.Â
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.Â
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.Â

Education and Experience:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.Â
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified IT Service Delivery (ITIL) or similar certifications are a plus.Â
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, server security, network administration, and database administration roles.Â
- Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is preferred. Â
